Well to me it does, I mean in H2 he's "inside" the carrier when he activates the bomb at "ground zero" and somehow magically teleports through the hull of the ship and out runs the explosion on leg power.(remember he exits from the bottom, the hole the longswords plowed into it was on the top of the ship.)

In this version he activates the bomb and kicks off from a safe distance and still get's the job done. Not as cool...but from a common sense stand point.
