Halo5 trailer detail you may have missed.

This has been bugging me since the new Halo5 trailer showed at E3 on Monday. And please correct me if I'm wrong.
The reacord footage that played before Locke and the Arbiter is shortly after Master Chief got his armor; right? And that very same armor is used throughout Halo3 up to when he goes into cryogenic sleep. Correct? But in Halo4 He comes out of cryogenic sleep in the Halo4 armor. WHICH IS SUPPOSE TO BE THE SAME ARMOR AS WHEN HE WENT INTO CRYO. Correct?

Okay. Then why is the CGI Master Chief from the NEW Halo5 CGI footage wearing different armor then he does in the Halo5 announcement trailer from last year if thetly are suppose to be the exact armor???

Did Cortana wake Master Chief between Halo3 & Halo4 for some reason and upgrade his armor? Please excuse my ignorance on this. I've not read a halo novel since 2011's Grasslands. And I've never read any of the comics. So there might be a side story or two I've missed.

This inconsistency between the armors is bugging me. Had it simply been normal in game footage we were all use to, then I wouldn't care as much. But how do you have both types of armor in the same story/game and claim they are one and the same???????

Thanks for reading.
