Yes, yes yes. I really don't care for the serial nature of this....series. I hope there are some long-form graphic novels in Halo's future - not as clumsy or as random as a serialized narrative. An elegant medium... for a more civilized age.

I've only rarely understood why the UNSC's continued control over the Outer Colonies is so goddamn important to them. I mean, yeah, power and control are desirable for exploring species, but BLAM! Just let some planets do some secession (oh, my grammer is worse than an Unggoy's) and govern themselves. Surely Carver's model doesn't apply anymore - or is drastically different.
