Halo: Combat Evolved came into my life when I was pretty young but very depressed and saddened. Playing as a badass SuperSpaceCommando was one thing (one awesome thing, mind you) to help relieve my pain, but your soundtrack made this game come full circle (kekeke). It was a living, breathing piece of art that was with me in the narrow halls aboard Pillar of Autumn and the swamps of the Library never failing to tell me its own emotions at the time.

Best of all? You did it four more times from Halo 2 to Reach, and I'm sure you'll do much the same with Destiny.

What I'll miss the most is seeing you in the few glimpses of your Ivory Tower we got over the years. You always seemed so excited, so motivated, so inspired by everything you did.
