Universe really kicked off in the ass end of the first season and got even better in the second. Seems like more and more everyday networks aren't giving well-received and beloved shows a chance. Cult favorites like Chuck and Comnunity bring in amazing fans and excellent ratings, but need to rely on Subway or Toyota to keep the show going on NBC.
Television is such bullshit nowadays. Both SG-1 and Atlantis took awhile for them to find their grove. Universe didn't even get a chance.
