I wonder what Tellem was referring to Halo with "reflecting". Forward Unto Dawn, perhaps? Pre-production and filming had a very tight schedule and post-production continued as the first episode was released. The end result was pretty astonishing, at least concerning visual effects, audio, costuming, set design, and other technical elements. However, the plot was unnecessarily segmented, and the script fell victim to a lot of cliché and random acts of awkwardness. It wasn't great, but it was a fantastic start to something.
Anyhoo, I'm kinda not all that excited for live-action to be honest. I love Archer and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and I find myself wondering what Halo would look like with these super distinct visual styles. Oh well, maybe someday!
Kinda off-topic, but if Microsoft is trying to find something that will surely bring in an addicted audience! might I suggest adopting some terribly neglected franchises? I'd love to see new stuff involving Serenity or some Zed-PM's.
I'm done talking. Sorry. :P
