I think maybe I wasn't clear enough. The grenade jump that RC shows is right at the beginning of the level - literally a few seconds in. We're not talking about grenade spamming - we're talking about my not being able to time the grenade toss and jump properly. When I said I tried it hundreds of times, I wasn't exaggerating; I was probably UNDERestimating. I'd throw the grenade, jump, die, respawn, run 10 feet, throw the grenade, jump, die, respawn, etc. No checkpoint needed - the wait time to try again is nonexistent. It's not a matter of getting bored while trying to get back to the place where I can try again - it's a matter of NOT BEING ABLE TO DO IT. Again - I'm nearly positive it has to do with my control scheme - I have to use the same hand to throw a grenade that I use to press the jump button, where almost everyone else uses different hands for those two actions. I just couldn't get the timing down. I don't need advice on HOW to get the timing down - I know how it's supposed to be done. I just can't do it.
