Well... yeah! I think everyone hopes deep down that multiplayer will be workable for oni2(presumably that's the reason why they're reworking the engine... that or to cut down on level design time).

Yeah, I can't say I like having mai mutate either. As far as choosing the moves: I say they integrate it, so that as you play the next move you get is determined by how many times you connect with other moves. Note that you have to actualy connect with the move, so you can't stand around for a while and just do one move so that you will get the running lariat on the next level.

I say they need to double the functionality of the guns... make it possible to carry two handguns, or one rifle. One button pulls out the first gun, the other the second, or if you have two of the same guns, one button pulls out a single gun, the other double. Or if you have a single rifle, one button pulls it out, the other switches its function.

Blah blah blah, I don't feel like posting my thoughts on this again.

Here's an idea, design the ai to bleed states, so that when one game character is doing a particular action which is extremely important to his ai the ai state of doing that might bleed over into nearby similarly oriented character. So if one guy sees you, he would trigger another guy to see you if he thought it was important. Or if one guy wants to run away it might trigger another guy to run away as well. Or, more interestingly, if one guy wants to leave the room, and it requires a password, if another guy uses the password it might bleed over into his ai. This could be a good way to solve a puzzle, where you can not actualy get the guy who knows the password, but if you can get somebody else to know the password, you might be able to get them.
