If I think about it, yes, there is that very slight possibility that Soulblighter is the leveller and that all the things you said about heroes and sidekicks are true. However, I'd have to think pretty hard.

The theory is simply too...unfounded to be taken to heart though. There is absolutely no evidence to support half of your argument. We do not know Mjarin's place in history before Myth III, nor do we know of any other instances of sidekicks and heores switching off the leveller's mantle.
