New Leveller Theory *PIC*

When Soulblighter dissapears at the end of the TFL level "Across The Gjol", he heads for the Great Devoid. Why does he abandon his master? Why does he go to the Devoid? Does he know Alric's plan to bring Balor's head there? Why does he assume Alric will succeed? These questions have been troubling me for a while now but maybe it has something to do with the Cycle being broken...or not.

Maybe Soulblighter is the Leveller and knows it. It doesn't seem such a stupid idea if you think about it. We know Balor has been killed before but he returned. Maybe when he was killed in the year 2000 let's say, Soulblighter became the Leveller. When Balor came back, he could not return to his post but assumed he would. Soulblighter finds this out but keeps quiet for some reason or another.

"What?!" I hear you say, but it's happened before. When Moagim died, he returns as Moagim Reborn. Wveryone thinks he is the Leveller, but waht do we find out, Mjarin is here. I think Mjarin was Moagim's right-hand man when he was around but kept quiet and "helped" the Cath Bruig until MR returns then he takes his rightful place. If that is true then Mjarin must be the evil reincarnation of Tireces' right-hand man. As Damas was Connacht's. It makes more sense if you see the table I've made but can't upload damn it!

Also, Soulblighter might not have followed the legion across the Gjol because he wanted Balor to be killed and then he lured Alric to the Devoid and when the head was thrown in, the huge explosion destroyed it and Soulblighter could continue his plans alone. So he fled to the untamed lands and plotted...

In my table, the cycle of resurrection goes like this. A good guy comes along and with his sidekick rids the world of evil. They die after a normal lifespan as they are mortal or are killed. 500 years later, the hero is reborn as the Leveller. He prepares an army of undead and gathers the evil dudes like the Watcher together and makes his move destroying what he set up in his golden age. 500 years later, the leveller is killed but his sidekick is reborn as the new passive Leveller. When the old Leveller comes back he thinks he'll take his mantle back but he doesn't. After another 500 years of evilness, a new hero dude is born and saves the world. The old Leveller is killed once and for all and the new sidekick Leveller comes into his own thus causing some more havoc before being killed too thus ending the darkness.

This actually shows that the cycle is not broken but working perfectly. The thing is, the Dark Ages are 1000 years long but the Light Ages are only 500 years long unless you say the beginning of the Dark Ages are actually Light but with a hidden Dark presence but I don't think that works. Also, there are two Levellers per Dark Age. One active, one passive till the end when it is too late.

Trust me, it works. If anyone finds some webspace for me I'll post the table. I'm sure you'll find something to complain about though.

Thanks
