First time in five years (so, the last game) that I’m properly excited for anything Halo—and that’s coming from a dedicated reader of the franchise’s novel series. I can’t get behind a live service product wholeheartedly anymore for myriad reasons, so something that has a finite and linear scope is honestly very appealing to me. The trio of Chief/Johnson missions look very savory, particularly with that space combat sequence.
