Yeah, which is probably why I prefer the campaign. Only a few missions actually give you time limits, and you can still play methodical if you want (and that's likely a better strategy than wasting resources on smaller engagements early on, for instance.) Halo Wars' ultimate flaw to me was that it didn't have enough post-launch support; rushing is always going to be a strategy for RTS but it became too easy to cheese. The HW2 beta already partially rectified that (with the quick turrets) so I'm interested to see if they keep up with balancing the evolving meta.
