: "Whether or not we do a game, I think we need to be really deliberate
: on the right game, because we can't alienate our core audience," Ross
: says. "I would say that when we first started the franchise, the
: thought of doing, like, a LEGO Halo game was not something that our core
: fans thought was interesting , whereas now we're getting requests for
: that."

: I think core fans need to do what they've kinda always needed to do and shut
: up. LEGO games are super adorable, incredibly fun and quirky, and are
: incredible avenues to introduce younger children into video games and the
: properties they depict. Precursors forbid we pour some milk into our Cocoa
: Puffs.

We're not getting a LEGO Halo game though, because there are no LEGO Halo sets. I've heard it's because of the violence and the M rating, although I think a bigger factor is LEGO has Star Wars and if you've got the number one or number two top sci-fi franchise, why bother with small potatoes in comparison (even if it's funny that a multi-billion dollar franchise can be considered that.)

Honestly I think the LEGO games have stagnated a lot though, and in recent games switching to full voice acting and clips from the media have destroyed my enjoyment of the fun retelling of the plots.
