A stunning development. I thought the arch method was going to be the speediest way, but your discovery of how to get the pilot out fast is a game-changer. It comes just as I'm showing a newly refined arch method in a speed run. I thought it might become the standard method, but I estimate that your rim method would beat it by 2-3 seconds, taking system differences into account.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if your method has better reliability too, but that could really do with some testing. If you're up for it, I'm wondering if you could do say 50 tries in a row, from a checkpoint prior to the loading point. On Legendary if you can (to take the issue of enemies fully into account). I'd be interested to hear how many immediate boardings you get from that (and how many slower boardings too, though those obviously won't be too relevant to speed runners).
