In Response To: Bridge Banshee Grab *VID* (.Sligfantry)

Ok, nobody else has posted yet, so I'll have to make a third post in a row. This time I have some comments specific to your tutorial, now I've had more time to absorb it.

I was really surprised that we have different methods after all. However, I see that you did originally have dealings with the arch, i.e. having the Banshee stuck up there above the door. With me, the pilot eventually fell out of his own accord, and that led to my focusing on the arch. With you, apparently he never did that, and that led you to look elsewhere.

An interesting method you found too! Like you, I'd seen the Banshee get stuck in the rim like that. Happened quite a bit, and I probably even tagged it at some point. But unlike you I never saw an ejection there, and thought it was a useless situation. It's not clear to me how important grenades are, but however he's popping out, it's highly amusing!

Also I like how you then drag the Banshee along so you can eventually board it. Took you quite a while to get around to that in the tutorial - I was wondering how you were going to board - but it was worth the wait. Fiendish.

You describe a very specific sequence of movements to get the Banshee stuck, but I'd be surprised if things really need to be that specific - and whether things are so different between PC and PAL Xbox. Well, I'll be checking it out on PAL Xbox soon no doubt.

I'm especially interested in getting a feel for whether this rim method is more reliable than the arch method. Despite my best efforts, which have at least helped, the arch method remains very unreliable. You can expect to need a lot of tries (or time) before the Banshee gets stuck; and even then, it often escapes.

I'm surprised you were able to get that delayed checkpoint so close to the Banshee. I would've thought its proximity would constitute a threat, hence keep the delay going. Apparently not.

Incidentally, I did a little searching too, and likewise found no reports of getting the Banshee in single-player. It's surprising really, because it could happen through sheer luck, whenever you're hanging back.
