We've seen concept art of Thorne as a member of Osiris, and if Nathan Fillion hadn't been available, I would probably have been okay with him as a major character in Halo 5. But given the work 343i have put into getting us to like him and the other Spartan-IVs - Naiya Ray is also a great character - in Escalation, I have to wonder, was there ever a point where there was no Osiris, where it was going to be Majestic, and that Spartan Ops' lukewarm reception sundered that concept and forced them to come up with Locke, Tanaka and Vale?

More than that, now that Osiris are the major Badass Successors to the Badass Originals in the story going ahead, will Majestic's story be restricted to the comics? Because I find myself liking Thorne and Ray, and wanting to see more of them going ahead. Majestic was rumoured to be in Halo 5, if only in a cameo appearance, but I saw neither hide nor hair of them in the playthrough I watched. Escalation is coming to a close in a couple of months. Will that be all we see of them? Or will they continue as a presence in other media, like novels or the Spartan Assault/Strike games?
