There is quite a large chunk that I cut out at the end just before the cut scene triggers. If memory serves I kill one more grunt leaving I think two left. Then I crouch in the launch bay for far too long of a very boring time (hence the cut). Maybe if you leave it long enough the cut scene triggers? It would be no good for speed runs. I'm pretty sure I remember 343 saying that under the graphical and audio overhaul that Combat Evolved is supposed to be identical. Maybe it's not though! Certainly feels the same to me.

Yeah, I think your right. Might see if I can't work some more of this kind of thing in a future part. I see Woaf 117 as a survivor. So when his life's on the line he does tend to get stuff done. It just that self preservation is more his prime motivator rather than any desire to help anyone else.

I do this totally subconsciously now! Out of all the Halo's CE is the one I've played the most (got it day one and fell in love almost instantly) so a lot of my playstyle is ingrained. Actually letting an Elite punch me for comedy effect never occurred to me! It's totally going to happen now though.

Totally didn't occur to me, unfortunately! It would have been more in character after part 3!

Now I have a question for you.

I'm half way through reading your video guide and was wondering. Was there anything you think I could do to improve series 2? You know my limitations. I see this series as kind of a pilot for my self and am thinking of changing a fair few things for future parts.
