'The thread with Parangosky is what confused me about HuntTheTruth—I had assumed the whole details of the S-II program were going to be made public by Parangosky as a political maneuver to sacrifice Halsey and clear the air for the next group of Spartans (and also for Osman taking over.) Clearly that never happened; I wonder why? Maybe Parangosky was just trying to pour more salt in the wound when she was talking to Halsey and never intended to disclose the program. Maybe she thinks instead of ripping the band-aid off, as it were, it's better to wait for everyone who cares to die. Which isn't exactly a poor plan; after all we can talk rather blithely about the benefits of European-Mongol contact or of Alexander bringing Greek civilization across the east, while ignoring the millions who suffered and died as a result. I'm sure by 2700 most people would consider the Spartan-II program a complete necessity and fully back it up.
