Let's face it. Living suns, giant baby-faced things hiding in fat people, "wibbly wobbly timey wimey," we've had stupider "science" in the show. As a lesson, "not everything strange is a threat" is actually pretty refreshing, especially given the bleak thread of that season. And in terms of child characters, I DIDN'T want to throttle the little darlings like I have with some in the past. I'm looking at you, Angie and Artie.

Maybe it was just so dramatically overshadowed by my utter disgust at Kill The Moon? I dunno, personal tastes and subjective experiences and whatnot.
