I have my problems with Traviss' portrayal of Lucy and those have partly to do with the way she interacts with the rest of the Spartans -- GoO gave the impression that she's still a professional and not some kind of team mascot that needs a hug at regular intervals. I thought the Huragok stuff was mostly okay up until the part where Traviss made Lucy talk just so she could spite Halsey. Suddenly both of these characters just start acting completely out of character just so Traviss can have a scene of juvenile wish-fulfillment. It's quite disgusting really, and not just because that's not what happens when a Spartan's fist meets an elderly woman's face.
