I like the provided content in the limited edition for Halo 5 to warrant my pre-order. The digital-only nature of the super duper collection and the design of its included statue turned me off that $250 thing as soon as the details were announced; I switched my pre-order as soon as possible to the much more reasonable $100 edition. I'd happily pay $250 for a gorgeous, full-sized statue of a Guardian. But spending $150 to $190 more than everyone else, not getting a disc, and despite getting it a week earlier than other editions, you still don't get to play it sooner.

Unlike the The Master Chief Collection, whose main selling point was its expansive multiplayer functionality, I'm buying Halo 5 first and foremost for the campaign. I dare them to have offline server issues. Multiplayer has always been just a bonus to keep me wanting to play the game for months on end and get more value out of it. Besides, it usually takes me a couple days to beat the campaign for the first time so I'm sure it'll be enough time to get rid of a few major kinks in multiplayer if they pop up.
