The armor doesn't bother me because of the explanation that goes with it. It, to me, is a mix between alien in design, and UNSC, which fits her role/abilities.

Also, the curving stuff doesn't bother me either. She's fit/athletic, that comes with curves sometimes. There's a "wider" athletic female on the team as well for additional diversity.
