First thing I did was actually check your site to see if I happened to trigger one of your events, but this was not intentional, nor did I make any effort to gather any of the enemies below like your massed enemy write-up. Oddly enough there were that many enemies down on the bottom floor as soon as I take down the two elites up top, they just started pouring in from the corridors. I was racking up single grenade killionaires before I even officially engaged the lower floor battle.

Regretfully, I have no idea what triggered this to happen. I was just trying to get a play through on MCC primarily so that I can get the armor prize for beating all MCC campaigns on legendary. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary as far as I can recall. I was using the campaign "playlist" option in MCC in the event that has anything to do with it. Other than this i'm really clueless. I was playing at the rate of one level per week so i had just started the level from a game save and it was not a continuous tour starting on the Autumn.

Since I posted the videos I did go back and play the level without my save, and can't believe how few enemies there normally are at this battle. I figured that all the enemies that spawn through the corridors were triggered at once, but its clear to me that I had taken down 3 to 4 times the typical amount of all the enemies intended to be in the battle, yet they just kept spawning again and again.

I'm reminded of neo's first battle with the newly 'free' smith(s) in reloaded.
