I recognize the stuff around them. It showed up in a picture some time ago. I can't seem to remember when or what the picture was for; I think it was Halo 5 concept art. Of particular note are the thing in the background people eventually decided was a statue (and seemingly a statue of an Elite), and a flying jellyfish thing right next to Locke's head (not really next to it, it looks to be far in the background, but in 2D terms it's right next to it).
