Re: cross between star destroyer and SoF

: It looks pretty good! Though I'm not getting much of a Spirit of Fire vibe
: from it, except near the aft with plating extending past the hull over the
: thrusters looking a bit like the SoF dorsal hull surface. Is it meant to
: be a New Republic Star Destroyer from the EU, or an original design?

I honestly don't know. I was looking at a blender tutorial to model the Blake's 7 Liberator and the image of that video caught my eye so I opened it in another tab and thought, "kewl".

I think the amount of detail, the top sloping sides and the rear engines is what made me think of tSoF. Perhaps tSoF was inspired by melding an assault rifle with the top half of a star destroyer.

UNSC ships have a rifle vibe. Like wot the Aliens' Sulaco has. Star destroyers have that wedge look. tSoF is perhaps an assault rifle mixed with star destroyer top half.

That's what I see when I look at tSoF. Or maybe it's a Hive themed weapon. And I see some SW hospital ship in the mix.
