What a game... *shakes head, laughing*

Thank you for this, Korny. It was a very different perspective on my side.

So, first of all, I love that part at the beginning where Schooly is like "Oh, wait, these teams.... Oh, well! Nevermind!"

Yeah, about that, lol.

Frankly, I'm amazed that we lasted as long as we did that game.

I saw those teams and I was like "That seems a bit unbalanced... Oh, well, I don't play a lot, so I'm not familiar with current skill levels: maybe these guys on my team will make up for the fact that they have Schooly, Nart, and Nando on the same team!" My guys put up a valiant effort, but alas, it was to no avail.

No hate to GV, but OMG I was going to lose my mind when he insisted on camping in the base with the shotgun. I held my tongue, but I knew in my heart that all that that meant was that we were going to be a man down until someone got within line of sight of the guy, and then some sort of engagement would happen, and then our team would be a man down again until someone else got in his line of sight.

Our team was facing a huge enough challenge as it was, we did NOT need to be a man down on top of all that!

Now, secondly, I love and hate that you had Paddy that whole time. I was laughing hard over here just from watching the video, it's no wonder why everybody was rolling over the mics on your team! lol.

Mad jelly, because that was an active and powerful morale boost for you guys.

I knew going into this that I wasn't going to be likely to outgun Schooly or Nart, that I was likely outclassed, and so I knew that the best way for me to contribute to our team was in driving hogs (my 13+ year specialty), optimizing our team's vehicle control/usage, and attempting to coordinate tactics -- I didn't bother trying to launch a convincing argument for a strategy, I couldn't do that while doing those aforementioned things under those aforementioned circumstances.

Now that I see it from you guys' perspective, Nart saying "HEY!!" a ton of times when he was in our base near the end isn't infuriating the way that it was at the time -- for me, in the heat of the moment, it was a REALLY desperate situation, and I hated being just barely kept from turning it around in time. At the time, it felt like merciless taunting, a cruel "rubbing in the face" of how hopeless it seemed to be getting and how unfair everything felt as my hatred for losing was being fanned into flame.

I'm also given a profound appreciation for Snipe's work that match. He was ice skating uphill, and that had to be frustrating, and he saved our bacon many times. Thank you, Snipe.

I about lost it again when Schooly saw that Korny killed himself in order to bring Schooly that sniper ammo. His reaction was priceless.

Korny, this video showed me that you are a scarily good tactician. You were doing things this game that I almost never see other skilled Halo players besides myself doing. I'm gonna have to keep my eye on you, and hope that you're on my team next time -- you were not holding back in your execution of tiny little things that end up making a huge difference - like your use of Armor Lock and smart grenade bouncing against your vector. ...heh, I still hate you for smacking me out of that hog before I could successfully bail, though. :p

I was really glad to see just how much of an impact my driving had on the gunners' kills, and the tactical situations. I loved seeing the fact that you guys couldn't get a clear shot on my solo return trip to base even though you were keeping an eye out for one as you made your own way there.

But yeah, just a really fun time, even if it was so frustrating and difficult so many times. I'm still amazed that we did as well as we did. GG!
