In some ways, this should easily be the best port of the collection. It mostly performs well, most of the core engine functionality was seemingly ported correctly*, 343i hasn't deliberately butchered it in any way...

But they applied some kind of tone-mapping curve that's broader on both the high and low side, flattening and in a certain way "washing out" the image. And the sound mix is weird, including filtering changes (i.e. radio voices) and in some cases possible removal (i.e. area reverb).

The result isn't a catastrophe by any means, but it's not a perfect port either; it's cleaner, but it lost some of its soul.

*I haven't noticed all that many blatant graphical mistakes, at least.
