: 343 mixes their stuff 'correctly' in that the dialogue is only on the center
: channel. Bungie always has dialogue on Center, Left, and Right.

: speakers, all the other sounds can overwhelm the center channel. If you
: hook up to an amp, see if you can boost the center channel. Otherwise, set
: your xbox to output stereo.

I have a 5.1 system and my speaker levels are set by Audyssey. I really like where they are for everything else except the sound mixes that 343i employs. Movies, other games, and even tv are no problem. Not so for a 343i game - and it seems even worse for MCC than H4.
