I'm enjoying the new graphics. It kind of ticks me off that they had to muck with the sound. Audio technology has not advanced significantly since 2004. There was no need, but considering they have "improved it," all they are revealing is that they have inferior talent behind the mixing board.

Halo 2 won awards for its sound design, for gosh sakes!

343i insists that the gameplay is exactly the same, as if that alone was the special sauce that could not be altered. IMHO, the way the game sounded was part of that secret sauce as well.
