: Here's a list of 17 bugs and other issues impacting custom games.
: In short, custom games are near-impossible to play. By 2:1, players spend
: more time setting up lobbies than they do actually playing the game.
: I hope 343 fixes this soon, but with this huge list of bugs I don't see how
: they do it in a timely fashion.
I've yet to play the game (patch has literally just finished downloading), but I'm at the point where I'm not sure I want to given all the things I've read about.
As a software tester, I'm pretty shocked the game has been launched in this state - and that's with me completely accepting that some bugs will always make it into the release build.
I can even stretch to at least partially accepting the matchmaking issues (difficulty in simulating server loads + the move to dedicated servers), but it just doesn't seem like the game was tested anywhere near enough.
I wonder if launching the Halo Channel alongside the MCC maybe spread 343i too thin? Or possibly there was a reduced focus on testing given that the single player elements of each games (bar H2A itself) are resolution-upgraded ports?
