I don't know, honestly I just think Thel wants this shit to end. he found that for years, literal YEARS, his brothers and even his own family fell to the humans on the hope of a lie by worm people they distrusted to begin with and threw them away the second they had the confidence to. not only that but finding out that them, the covenant, shoved first and the human race was just defending itself.

At this point I'd be tired of fighting, tired of trying to prove our worth to everything we see as a rival or threat. the human race wouldn't dare fuck with the elites and vice versa, we bothed proved our worths in battle and show how much of a threat they can be to eachother and its pretty damn equal even if the human race are the gifted chosen ones to hold the mantle.

Theres bigger issues then trying to win the "Alien master race of the universe" award right now. insurrectionist of both races have formed again, insane forerunner commanders are coming out of nowhere and trying to destroy us all, and the alien zombies arn't 100% wiped out yet. I'd rather try to deal with the issues of my own planet and make peace with the people who gave birth to the green suited guy who kicked all of our asses and doesn't afraid of anything.
