I'm doing some research for a Halo mod I'm working on, and I'm wondering what the Earth looks like in 2552 in terms of nations and borders. I found an interesting map from one of the Halo 2 sites back in the day portraying a Covenant depiction of Earth's states:

Now, I'm not sure if those images are simply depictions of Earth's continents or actually portray its supranational entities, like the URNA. What I find interesting is that it doesn't depict the entire European Union. Neither entire Asia, as Russia isn't highlighted in the third image from the top. Could this mean that there is a supranational entity in 2552 that doesn't include Russia but only China+India+Arabian Peninsula?
