: I'm just at a point where I'm tired of watching people belittle a game that I
: feel is one of the best in the series, so I have to speak out about it. I
: respect your opinions... but continuing to post these ideas serves no
: positive purpose.
I'm going to avoid the H4 topic here, but everything you just said sort of doesn't show 343 "learning" when I see what's going on with Ascension, and some of what they're trying to say makes absolutely no sense or just doesn't feel genuine to me.
Wu put it the best, I think: http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/halo.forum.pl?read=1196337
But yeah, not a prequel vibe as far as the H2A stuff goes, but just the special edition vibe where Lucas keeps adding all sorts of things or changing things that absolutely should not have been changed. Honestly, that shield in the center is not going to enhance gameplay. It impedes it. It slows it down. When your sniper buddy has an awesome shot that's about to take someone out, and one of your teammates decides to hit that button and it saves someone on the other team, yeah, no thanks. Why ruin the flow? Just one example. I don't want to get into what else I think is wrong with the changes. I'll be sticking to regular H2. :)
