I didn't care how they showed the Sangheili as beer-swilling drunkards. They're alien. Make them alien. Don't just make them tall, salamander-skinned humans.

I also was under the impression that without the Covenant, the Elites were still an honor-bound race. Something about a drawn energy sword was to end in its use? There were 3, and only 1 Elite died. What about the others?

The story's ok, but there are still elements that bug me.
