It's always sad to see the founding fathers/mothers of a incredible company leave.
Your music and sound productions are easily the most recognizable elements from Bungie's history. I would wish you a bright future to where ever you go next but I don't see the need. For you, Sir, are a LEGEND and no matter where you end up, you will succeed.

I don't know why you were let go. But to be honest, I'm not suprised. I was expecting something like this would happen the moment Activision came into the picture. The decision to let you go may have had nothing to do with Activision. Like I said, I don't know. What I do know is that they will regret it. One doesn't fire a legend in their company's history and success without creating problems.

I thank you, Marty, for your long incredible years of service, music, imagination, silliness, leadership, and inspiration in Bungie games and music over the years. Your presence will be missed. Hopefully this means we'll see your talents return to Halo. ;)
