: I disagree. I believe the idea of this slide (and a related one about
: positive/negative traits in girls) is to show how boys who don't abide by

The problem IMO is not that we try and encourage certain traits over others. The problem is that by making the dual association of these traits as both negative and girly, we manage to both cause guys to feel like failures to their gender and signal to women that their self-empowerment is not welcome. Almost no one wins in this outcome. (And I say this as a gender-normative social conservative...)
