PSN was down for a few hours a couple days ago for maintenance. I was still able to play my games under my own profile, even Resogun which I DLed for free through PS+. And the Wii U has never required internet to play anything, so Wind Waker HD could be played just fine. Everything has been smooth sailing on both systems.

So yeah. Yet another reason for me to hold off on getting an XBO. I hope it gets a deep price cut before Halo 5. I'm still getting one eventually, but I need more incentive. Titanfall ceased being a system-seller to me when it was announced it was completely online competitive MP, none of the other existing and forthcoming exclusives interest me, and that $500 price tag makes it even less attractive. The PS4 and Wii U cover 95% of my gaming needs. Halo and Gears are the only things they don't have that I'm interested in. If only MS would invest more in first-party studios and actually did something with the mountain of old Rare IPs they're sitting on. The world could use more Perfect Dark, Banjo Kazooie, Blast Corps, Battletoads, and so on.
