Our internet is restored so a half hour later, I decided to get some Project Spark work done or watch my friend's play Titanfall as they stream on Twitch. Only to find out that Xbox live is having login issues again. Also not a big deal. At least I can still game, right?

NO!! I CAN'T!!!
Without a internet connection to the Live service, I STILL can't play!. Why? Because I can't sign into my account while offline!! WHAT?!?! I STILL have to be online to use the Xbone?! THIS is exactly why we complained last year when they announced their idiotic plan to require a internet connect. When we loose our connection, or the service goes down, the console becomes a oversized $500+ brick!

Sure I could play on the 360 since there's still one in the house. But the point is that we shouldn't have to!! I don't want to hear how the PS4 IS "superior" because it doesn't have this issue. I don't have the console nor does my roommate because neither of us wanted it. I've never liked the Playstation line. There are some great games, but it's the ease of use and online experience I enjoy most out of consoles today.

But not being able to sign into my console while OFFLINE is one of the most boneheaded moves and console company could make! My rant is over. I just had to get it out of my head. Sorry for "wasting" forum space.
