They can be good if you use them right. They explode as soon as they hit the ground with enough force to break someone's shields. They don't work like the other grenades, you've got to aim for the ground right at the feet of your enemies. It's hard to do, but if you can it'll drop the shields of anyone within the radius as it opens. I'd say it's Difficult But Awesome.
