I'm surprised I messed that up; Shadow did quite a bit of flamethrowering on Floodgate, and an exchange about it is actually one of the things I bothered to record in my transcript.

One of the things that makes it interesting is that the tiles fall based on when you pass by them, rather than on an absolute timer. This can reduce the feeling of urgency in single-player, but it makes a neat game of timing and speed-matching in coop if you're trying to minimize deaths and/or respawn anyone who falls. You have to keep the gap between vehicles small, which means you have to learn to form a positional negative feedback loop while on the move.
