Call of Duty is shit because of it and Halo 4 was already shit, so releasing another game right afterwards can't be good. ODST was a way to tell the story from between Halo 2 and Halo 3 outside of the story revolving around MC and Cortana (and in my opinion ODST is an amazing game), in 343's case all they give a shit about is making a sub par multiplayer and not trying to make a good campaign. Halo Wars was made by a completely different company and I liked the game because at the time I hadn't played a game like that since WC3: Reign of Chaos. Reach in my opinion was where Halo begun it's slow and painful death, it was just a terrible game in general and I only was able to do the smallest amount of tricking, trick jumping, and did a bit of multiplayer stuff before I was able to completely put it off forever.
