Not to continue to beat a dead horse, but I think this is worth mentioning here. There are *a lot* of people who really, really disliked Halo 4, myself included. Previously, yes, I would have probably ended up buying an Xbox One solely for Halo 5. But after experiencing what 343i did to Halo 4, I'm content to just read the plot summary for Halo 5 once it comes out to satisfy my storyline cravings. Meanwhile, if I have a console gaming craving, Sony gets my money.

Previously, Halo was money in the bank for Microsoft. After Halo 4, though, that's questionable. If certain gamers' dissatisfaction with Halo 4 doesn't make them question a next-gen Microsoft console purchase, all the lovely DRM bull that we're expected to put up with now certainly will.

A good Halo game or a good console. You must provide one, Microsoft. But it's looking like you'll provide neither.
