While I agree that a lengthy development time doesn't ensure quality (DNF anyone?), You are leaving out the fact that this is a new system, and the fact that Halo games typically have more features then your average shooter.

I wouldn't expect more then feature parity with Halo 4. I also wouldn't be surprised if they cut some of the "tougher" legacy features like split-screen and theatre (again), in favour of polishing other stuff. I mean, this IS 343i we're talking about. The track record speaks for itself.
