: What do you guys think about this?
The guy seems to be awfully entitled for someone without a degree, and without any significant AAA titles beneath his belt.
I have heard horror stories come from contractors in gaming (Even a few rumors about Bungie contractor issues) however this seems like a guy who felt that he deserved bigger and better things than he actually deserved. Working an extra weekend or two does not make you employee of the year.
Based purely on his side of the story it seems simply like a case of an overly ambitious employee who was not realistic about his position nor his future with the company.
This is the kind of employee that employers dread hiring. The ones that do good their first few months then become lazy or disrespectful over some imagined slight by the company.
