The Moa in Reach are 8ft 9in tall if anyone's interested. That's the male one with the bony crest on its head. The female Moa is 8ft 6in tall.

Since the real Moa were 12ft tall, this is one instance where Halo actually made something smaller than actual size. :) Usually, things like hand grenades are basketball-sized giants. :P
