I'm not going to get into the politics around ai.
Just understand I'm not a fan of it.
I will never use it in my REAL art.
DeviantArt has already fed my art to the ai systems and why I no longer upload to the platform.
At least not any of my new art.

Entering prompts and/or images into a program that does all of the heavy lifting, DOES NOT make someone a artist, writer, or musician.
Doing so barely makes you a director.
Without real creators making content, ai would have nothing to steal from
And that brings me to the point of this post.
Ai steals. It does not create.
It simply takes from others, smashes it all together, and spits out the closest thing it can to your request.
This is the major reason ai is inconsistent, chaotic, and requires prompts to come close to one's request.
I understand how ai works.
I have to so I can learn how to spot it.
For Example: Ai struggles with detailed images and patterns.
It also struggles with simple pencil drawings.
The most advances ai programs to date, Gemini & Claude often requires color to understand what should be what.

And that leads me to my samples.
Because my old art is already deep into the system, I have no issue using it here.
All of these drawings have been shared to H.B.O. in the past and are at least 10 years old at this point.

First up are four of my original art.
I'm not saying they look good.
The tech I had and my skills at the time were both very lacking.
Some of these images may be large.

Now their four ai versions.
It took only a few requests to get these results.
The drawings and VERY basic Halo themed prompts did the rest.

I still hold the Copyright to my original art and thus the copyright to the following ai images.
Which is currently the only means to claim copyright of ai generated content.
