If it wasn't for HBO, I wouldn't have gone sledding with Paddy in Utah. I wouldn't have watched Snatch with Xenos in the Comfatorium in Colorado. I wouldn't have dropped Tex on the dancefloor at kanbo's wedding. I wouldn't have choked on spaghetti watching terrible anime in Schooly's apartment. I wouldn't have buried BoneKin at the top of the sand hill at the beach party. I wouldn't have heckled people, Statlor and Waldorf style, from a Seattle rooftop after the PAX Prime HBO meetup. I wouldn't have gone back to the TSD Gamen Haus afterwards to the welcome sight of Paddy's beautiful framed photo of Claude. I wouldn't have gone back next year for the TSD Pancake House, and a delicious chai from Grumpy D's. I wouldn't have been on the edge of my seat for the incredible conclusion to TDSpiral's thrillogy at HBOMB 3. I wouldn't have a picture of Wu dabbing after a long night of king's cup at the HBOPP. I wouldn't be looking forward to HBOTH in two months. And I certainly wouldn't have been laughing my ass off at midnight, New Year's Eve, in Yokohama while Tex drunk dials Wu at 7AM his time to wish him a Happy Wu Year.

If it wasn't for HBO, I wouldn't have TSD, a group of my closest friends that are with me no matter where my life has taken me, and who in turn have taken me to some of the best moments of my life. Not too shabby of a legacy for a video game forum.
