Normal bones are constantly remodelled by the body. There are cells that break the bones down and cells that build them up. Exercise thickens and toughens bones. Less use thins them down. This lets the body achieve the best balance - bones thicken where stress is present and thin where there is less stress.
These lab grown, implanted bones undergo the same remodelling by the body.
