Well, I can buy her managing to disrupt Bias briefly, but I doubt any trick would work long or that he'd fall for it again.

On the other hand, Halsey's maneuver working could just be Bias pushing the test further. Obviously the best way to usually get an honest answer from someone is when they don't know they're being tested :)
