I suppose it would help if I proofread the post before posting. :) That comment was refering to the new scorpion, even though thats not how it reads in hindsight.

At this point, I just have to invent head-canon that 'Wraith' is a code name for ANY Covenant tank, 'Ghost' is a code name for any single pilot Covenant speeder, and 'Banshee' is a code name for any small single pilot Covenant aircraft.

Unfortunately, I cannot project that onto the UNSC. I just wish if they were going to make them look largely different, that they would rename them as well.
